I’m a Certified Baby Nutrition Consultant, Certified Breastfeeding Counsellor and mum of two- Sage and Remi. I live in a beachside town of the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia.
I have been supporting and counselling mums throughout their breastfeeding journey for over six years and have worked in the field of nutrition and dietetics in both public and private settlings for over ten years.
My passion lies within the realm of postpartum and childhood health and wellbeing, helping mums to breastfeed the way they want to and empower them to make a smooth transition onto nourishing solid foods! I truly believe in the power of food as medicine and love the way it brings joy and connection to each family’s home.
I specialise in allergies, gut concerns and skin health for babies and children, providing lasting relief from eczema, food sensitivities and intolerances. I want you to walk away feeling nourished, healthy, clear and confident about your child’s health and your own wellbeing.
How did I end up here?…
I grow up with an Ayurvedic doctor, which sparked my passion for food and health. After recovering from cervical cancer in my teens, I held a deep appreciation for the body’s systems- realising that fueling our body with nourishing whole foods is disease preventing, immune boosting and helps us find our vest for life.
After working as a dietician, I moved into the field of women’s health and postpartum. I trained as a midwife at the Royal Hospital for Women and became certified as a breastfeeding counsellor with the Australian Breastfeeding Association. I felt there was a true gap in support and care for mothers as I myself felt depleted and exhausted after birth. I experienced server hyperemesis with both my pregnancies and faced many breastfeeding challenges such as low supply, mastitis, oversupply and nipple damage.
As a new mum I also found the mainstream nutritional advice for both my babies when they started solids to be outdated and very conflicting. This sparked my desire to provide practical education about nutrient dense whole foods to families so they can nourish their children with confidence.
The truth is, not one baby, child or mother has the same constitution or health status… and so we need to address each individual’s nutrient needs and holistic health so we can feel our best.
